Description
Quaternium-73 is commonly used in over-the-counter (OTC) drugs in Japan as an acne treatment ingredient.
It has a strong antibacterial activity (Destroy bacterial fungal cell membrane, Propionibacterium acnes has excellent effect).
It also can inhibit the production of melanin, Powerful but extremely safe, and widely used for acne, whitening, and freckle removal products.
Properties:
1. Acne inhibitors with antibacterial activity;
2. It can be used as a kind of preservative to kill bacteria, staphylococcus, and Escherichia coli powerfully, better than Nipergin esters; In addition, it can inhibit the production of melanin.
3. Clinical studies have shown that the erythra can be reduced by 50% after two weeks of use on Bacillus acnes(mic=0.00002%); When the dosage was 0.1ppm, the production of melanin was completely inhibited, which was better than kojic acid.

Application:
