Glycol Salicylate (INCI: Glycol Salicylate) is a colorless to light-yellow liquid derived from sapochlinic acid. Mild and low-irritating, it shows a 99.99% antibacterial rate against Propionibacterium acnes and Malassezia furfur. Soluble in alcohol and oil, it is typically used at 0.1–0.5%.
